Opera House Markets

Every Sunday, Sydney artists and craftspeople line up along the Opera House forecourt to display and sell their handmade works. Uncover the next Brett Whiteley and bag yourself an original Australian artwork. Sunday, 9am-5pm, Opera House forecourt, Macquarie Street, city, free.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2007

Battle of the Barbecues

In the great barbecue-off of 2008, some of Sydney's most talented sausage sizzlers draw tongs to challenge each other's expertise. There will be free cooking demonstrations and tastings. Saturday and Sunday, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm, The Rocks Square, city, free.

Yabun

Aboriginal performance, language, heritage, politics and art converge in this annual showcase of indigenous music, art and education. Meaning "song with a beat" in the Eora language, Yabun will also be broadcast around the country and in Sydney on Koori Radio 93.7FM.
